Merchant Support Specialist
Are you someone who enjoys helping businesses grow, building strong relationships, and delivering great service? Avarda is now looking for a Merchant Support Specialist in Norway to strengthen our team and support our merchants across the Nordics.
In this role, you’ll become an important partner for our merchants. You’ll work closely with both new and existing partners, making sure they feel confident using our solutions and that their feedback helps shape the way we work.
Responsibilities
1. Merchant Support
Provide high‑quality support via phone, email, and chat.
Resolve inquiries and report technical incidents according to company procedures.
Collect and report merchant feedback to internal teams.
Contribute to creating and maintaining work instructions and documentation.
Monitor merchant satisfaction and suggest improvements.
2. Merchant Operational Onboarding
Lead and facilitate merchant meetings and training sessions (both online and on‑site when needed).
Create and update onboarding materials, such as presentations, guides, and welcome packages.
Review and improve merchant‑facing texts in the invoice flow.
Administer and manage access to the Avarda Merchant Portal.
3. Administrative & Operational Responsibilities
Support development of the Merchant Portal and new tools.
Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.
Experience
We are looking for someone who enjoys combining service, relationship‑building, and structured administrative work.
You will probably enjoy this job if you:
Have some experience in B2B support, account management, or a similar customer‑facing role.
Feel confident communicating clearly, both in writing and over the phone.
Have some understanding of financial processes or are curious to learn more.
Speak Norwegian fluently and communicate well in English.
Like switching between people‑focused tasks and more independent administrative work.
Work proactively, stay organized, and care about delivering good quality.
